Jason Kidd and Malik Allen are heading to Dallas for Devin Harris, Jerry Stackhouse, DeSagana Diop, Devean George and Maurice Ager, $3 million and 1st round picks this off-season and in 2010.

This trade will be the NBA’s third blockbuster trade this month, starting with Pau Gasol to LA, then Shaq to Pheonix and now Kidd to Dallas.

This will be interesting to see how it plays out. I think they’ll still flop even with Kidd. Their main guy, Dirk, will always be a flake in the playoff crunch time. I feel bad for Kidd going to a team with no heart.

I think it was a good move by tehe Mavs. I mean when you look at it how can it hurt them were talking about a team that chocked the last 2 playoffs. His leadership will help them alot I think it will make them a better TEAM overall but again Dirk has to step it up maybe this will motivate them. They are in the same situation like the Lakers and Suns they havent won in the last few years so why not try somethign new. Thats why te Spurs should not make any moves. Narbeh

Yeah, Kidd took the Nets to back to back finals and Dallas is much better than Nets ever were. But still, after the Miami collapse followed by the embarrassing lose to the Warriors, I’ve gone from a Dallas / Dirk support to a hater.

And what’s this about the league not letting Stackhouse go back to Dallas if the Nets waive him? It’s not like that hasn’t happened before where a player was traded, waived and resigned with the original team. There’s no way this deal will go through now if Stackhouse can’t come back to Dallas.
